Gabriele Förster
Gabriele Förster was born and brought up in the north of Germany. She studied fine arts, history of art, German language and philosophy in Mainz and Vienna. Till 2002 she taught art and German language in Mainz and directed numerous theatre plays with young persons in cooperation with the Mainzer Kammerspiele. From 2002 to 2005 Gabriele Förster was directing at different theatres in New York, since 2006 she is working for the Berlin "theater89".
